Description

"US-Azerbaijan Relations: Vision For Future"
This year marks the 20th anniversary of U.S-Azerbaijan diplomatic relations, 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan's re-establishment of independence, the renewed spotlight on energy security in the world, and thus attention on the oil and gas sector in Azerbaijan. The country has turned into a net investor, creating jobs and opportunities far beyond its borders.

On April 25-26, 2012, we are looking forward to holding a major conference dedicated to the U.S.-Azerbaijan Relations with special emphasis on trade and energy relations, while also paying attention to the subjects of promoting culture and tolerance. The conference is being co-organized by the Turquoise Council of Americans and Eurasians with USAN, and the Johns Hopkins University's Central Asia Caucasus Institute at SAIS in Washington, D.C. and Caspian Strategy Institute. It will be attended by community, business and political leaders from both Azerbaijan and U.S., from local, state and federal levels.
