Join us on June 27 and event co-hosted by the Foreign Policy Initiative and Freedom House entitled, "Toward a Democratic Russia."

The introduction and welcome will be made by Robert Kagan of the Foreign Policy Initiative & The Brookings Institution. The keynote speakers will be Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) who is a commissioner on the U.S. Helsinki Commission and Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) who is also a commissioner on the U.S. Helsinki Commission. Panelists discussing the future of democracy in Russia include former Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov and member of the European Parliament Kristiina Ojuland. David Kramer of Freedom House, will moderate the discussion.
