Over this past election year, Euro-American relations have been subject to critical examination from policy-makers. Despite tensions in the Euro area, Transatlantic cooperation has been strengthened on many fronts with regular meetings held between European and American leaders to maximize a convergence of political, economic and strategic issues. How will the challenges facing Europe and the United States be addressed after the elections? What policies will be subject to convergence or disagreement?
