Dr. Aaronson is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Macroeconomic Analysis in the Office of Economic Policy at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. She is on detail from the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System where she is the section chief of the Macroeconomic Analysis section. Stephanie has published research on a variety of topics including labor force participation, productivity, and inequality. She has an A.B. in History and a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University.
